SKM 5000 N handheld transmitter

The SKM 5000 N handheld transmitter is a special version of Sennheiser's state-of-the-art SKM 5000. Specially optimized for the Neumann capsule, it ensures interference-free, high-quality transmission to an associated Sennheiser receiver. As part of Sennheiser's top-of-the-line 5000 Series, the SKM 5000 is acknowledged by professionals worldwide as the benchmark for solid RF transmission.

Capsule and transmitter are available in the typical Neumann nickel color finish or in black. The KK 105 S head comes complete with a large roadworthy nylon pouch big enough to hold the complete microphone, battery packs and additional accessories.

The design of the KK 105 S super-cardioids microphone head is based on Neumann's successful KMS 105, 140 and 150 family of wired vocalist microphones. It does not only take its excellent tonal characteristics and specifications from this series, but also its ruggedness and efficient suppression of pop and handling noise.

The SKM 5000 N with Neumann head is a dream come true for countless customers who time and again demanded a wireless variant of the popular Neumann KMS 105. This new microphone model marks a synergy of the core competencies of two globally active market leaders: Neumann as the world's leading manufacturer of condenser microphones and Sennheiser as the market leader for state-of-the-art RF wireless transmission.

CCTV (China national TV station) has purchased 18 sets for CCTC-3channel. Also Mr. Hacken Lee--the famous singer in Hong Kong, used it in his 2004 Concert.
